Drawing inspiration from the musical title employed by T.S. Eliot in his profound work, Four Quartets, I embark on a creative journey that intertwines literature, music, and visual expression. Inspired by Eliot's use of a musical structure for titling his poem, I delve into the act of deleting the body text of a dissertation, while preserving the musical examples as a score. In this process, I utilize my own title as a means to precisely describe what remains of the dissertation, transforming it into a score where the title itself takes on the role of verse, if not the very essence of my work. 

To infuse my titles with precision and clarity, I also incorporate the tools of citation and figures/examples. The use of citation and figures/examples extends beyond the mere description of musical location. It becomes an integral part of the artistic composition, harmoniously blending literature and music. The interweaving of these elements creates a dialogue between the precise references and the visual presentation. 

My artistic process, inspired by T.S. Eliot's Four Quartets, revolves around the deliberate deletion of body text within dissertations and the subsequent elevation of the title as verse. It is an exploration of the transformative power of language, the resonance of silence, and the intricate interplay between title, music, and meaning.
